Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Snowflake Developer to join our growing data engineering team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Snowflake development, advanced SQL programming, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing concepts. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, optimizing, and maintaining scalable data solutions to support business intelligence and analytics requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Snowflake.
Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
Build and manage ETL/ELT workflows for data ingestion and transformation.
Implement data warehousing solutions and dimensional data models.
Perform query tuning and performance optimization to improve system efficiency.
Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to understand data requirements.
Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner.
Participate in code reviews, deployment activities, and technical documentation.
Mandatory Skills
Strong hands-on experience in Snowflake Development
Expertise in Advanced SQL
Experience in ETL/ELT Development
Good understanding of Data Warehousing Concepts
Knowledge of Performance Tuning Query Optimization
Experience in Data Modeling
Preferred Skills
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Knowledge of data integration tools like Informatica, Talend, Matillion, or DBT.
Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or Shell scripting.
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
