About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Snowflake Data Lead / Data Architect with strong expertise in Snowflake (including Cortex AI) and functional knowledge in Trade Compliance, Sourcing, Supply Chain, and Customs processes.
This role will lead data architecture initiatives, integrate SAP systems, and drive performance and quality improvements across the data platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead data architecture and design on Snowflake
- Manage data ingestion from:
- SAP GTS
- SAP S/4HANA
- Ensure data quality, testing, and governance standards
- Define naming conventions and architecture best practices
- Optimize system and query performance
- Drive improvements in scalability and cost efficiency
- Work closely with business teams in Trade Compliance and Supply Chain
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in Snowflake (architecture + performance tuning)
- Experience with Snowflake Cortex AI (preferred)
- Integration experience with SAP GTS and SAP S/4HANA
- Solid understanding of Sourcing, Supply Chain, Customs, and Trade Compliance processes
- Experience in master data handling
- Prior experience leading data teams or acting as Data Architect
Nice to Have
- Snowflake or SAP certifications
- Experience in manufacturing or global trade environments
