Snowflake Data Engineer
📍 Location: Remote, India
đź’Ľ Job Type: Full-time
We are looking for an experienced Snowflake Data Engineer to join our growing data engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Snowflake, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and modern data engineering practices, with the ability to design and implement scalable data pipelines that support business-critical analytics and reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Design, build, and maintain data ingestion and automation pipelines using Snowflake, Snowpipe, SQL, and cloud-native services.
- Develop and manage ELT workflows ensuring data quality, integrity, and consistency across systems.
- Work with AWS services (S3, EC2, CloudWatch, Lambda) to enable efficient data integration with Snowflake.
- Implement and support CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub, and Terraform for automated deployments.
- Apply advanced Snowflake features such as Time Travel, Data Masking, Warehouse Sizing, and Performance Optimization.
- Troubleshoot, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and resolve production issues in Snowflake and data pipelines.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver data-driven insights.
- Contribute to improving data engineering best practices, coding standards, and process automation.
Key Skills & Experience- 5–7 years of experience in Data Engineering / BI with hands-on expertise in Snowflake.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, DBT, and workflow orchestration tools like Apache Airflow.
- Proven experience with AWS (S3, EC2, Lambda, CloudWatch) and exposure to Azure or GCP.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub, Terraform) for data pipeline automation.
- Good understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT pipelines, and performance optimization.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle production issues and deliver timely solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to Have- Experience with Google BigQuery and GCP ecosystem.
- Knowledge of data visualization tools (Power BI, Data Studio, Tableau).
- Exposure to sustainability or automotive industry data projects.
Education- Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification.
