Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an SMT Technician, located in Chennai. The SMT Technician will oversee, operate, and maintain surface mount technology (SMT) machinery to ensure efficient production and high-quality outputs. Key responsibilities include setting up machines, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, performing regular maintenance, and ensuring quality control standards are met. Additionally, the technician will collaborate with the production team to meet project deadlines and improve system efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience with SMT machine operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance
• Knowledge of quality control standards and inspection techniques
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints
• Basic understanding of electronics and circuit board assembly processes
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Relevant technical certifications or a diploma in electronics or related fields is an advantage
• Experience in the manufacturing or electronics industry is a plus
