Role description:
The SMT Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and managing SMT production processes, troubleshooting and maintaining equipment, and ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the production line. The role includes collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing production data for optimization, and ensuring compliance with quality standards to achieve production goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate, monitor, and maintain SMT production lines
- Troubleshoot production and machine-related issues
- Handle programming and operation of AOI and SPI machines (TRI preferred)
- Work with Panasonic or FUJI pick-and-place machines and DEK printer
- Ensure process optimization and machine calibration
- Monitor product quality and implement corrective actions
- Support PCB assembly and electronic manufacturing processes
- Coordinate with quality, production, and maintenance teams
- Maintain production records and process documentation
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Surface Mount Technology (SMT) processes and equipment handling
- Knowledge of troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of SMT production lines
- Programming knowledge and experience in AOI/SPI with TRI machines
- Experience with Panasonic or FUJI machines and DEK printer
- Skills in quality control, process optimization, and equipment calibration
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Understanding of electronic components and PCB assembly
- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electronics, or a related field
- Experience in the electronic surveillance industry or related industry is preferred
