Key Responsibilities:
- Sort, clean, inspect, and package instruments for sterilization
- Operate and monitor steam/chemical sterilizers, maintain cycle logs
- Follow strict infection-control standards (OSHA, CDC, AAPD)
- Track sterilizer maintenance, calibrations, and biological testing
- Monitor and manage instrument inventory and sterilization supplies
- Maintain a clean, orderly sterilization area
- Support with routine office cleaning and upholding PPE best practices
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management to support overall clinic operations
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous sterilization or dental assistant experience preferred
- Familiarity with sterilization protocols and equipment
- Attention to detail, strong organizational/communication skills
- Reliable, professional, and team-oriented demeanor
