Shift: Should be comfortable with Night Shift & 24x7 Rotational Support. Work from Office only

Role Summary:
The Background Verification Administrator is responsible for managing and executing the end-to-end background verification process (UK) for prospective and current employees. This role ensures compliance with organizational policies and legal standards, maintains accurate records, and collaborates with external vendors and internal departments to facilitate a seamless onboarding and verification experience.
Role Responsibilities –
- Initiate, track, and complete background checks (employment history, education verification, criminal records, credit checks, etc.) for new hires and existing employees.
- Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date records of all background verification activities in HR systems.
- Ensure all background checks adhere to legal and company standards, including GDPR and other relevant regulations
- Serve as the point of contact for candidates, employees, and internal teams regarding background check processes.
- Address and resolve any discrepancies or issues arising during the verification process.
- Implement and uphold company policies related to background screening and data privacy.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency within the background verification workflow.
- Liaise with third-party background screening agencies to ensure timely and accurate completion of verifications.
- Coordinate with the hiring manager, governance team for executing the BGV checks
Qualification –
- Bachelor’s degree (Any Stream)
- Proven experience in background verification, HR administration, or related roles
- Familiarity with legal and compliance requirements related to employment screening
- Prior experience working with background screening vendors.
- Demonstrate ability and integrity when working with confidential data
- Good communication (verbal and written), organizational, and coordination skills
- Proficiency in HRIS, ATS, or background screening software.
- Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
