Job Responsibilities :
- Review of stratigraphic/coal seam correlations, structural interpretation, and QC of various geological & seam parameter maps.
- Build static geo-cellular model incorporating available data of the field
- Volumetric estimation in multiple cases capturing the range of uncertainties.
- QC of map based & model based OGIIP estimations.
- Generation of alternate development scenarios wrt well type, spacing etc.
- Review of geological prognosis & well trajectories for development drilling.
- Support to Ops Geology team during geo-steering/drilling operations and provide operational decision as required.
- Provide technical inputs for business development plan.
- Responsible for planning and acquiring geological data to bridge data gap and reduce uncertainty through enhanced field understanding.
- Support to pre & post drill geo-mechanical analysis
- Support to RE team during dynamic simulation
- QC of onsite & lab measurements on the cores for coal characterization
- Evaluation of CBM data package from Regulatory body / Prospective seller for block acquisition / farming-in
- Review & QC of Subsurface deliverables from third party / SME studies.
- Generate integrated subsurface descriptions and risk/uncertainty matrix
- Responsible for cross functional communications like Projects, FC&A, P&C, D&C etc for all planning and execution related to Operations and Development.
- Review Scope of Works and Technical Evaluation / recommendation for procuring materials / services of Sub-surface.
Education Requirement :
- M.Sc / M.Tech or PhD in Geology.
Experience Requirement :
- Minimum 08-12 years# relevant experience in industry working on Interpretation, Geo-modelling, Well Planning and Operations.
