About the role
Automotive Domain Expertise:
Solid understanding and experience in the automotive domain, particularly in areas such as Bluetooth connectivity, media interfaces (USB, Radio), and CAN/UDS protocols.
Proficient in Bluetooth technology, with hands-on experience in implementing and troubleshooting Bluetooth connectivity features in automotive systems.
Expertise in handling media interfaces, including USB and Radio, within automotive software solutions.
Experience in developing and optimizing media playback and control functionalities.
In-depth knowledge of CAN (Controller Area Network) and UDS (Unified Diagnostic Services) protocols.
Proficiency in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting software modules that utilize CAN/UDS for communication within automotive systems.
Strong proficiency in Python programming language for automation tasks.
Experience in developing automation scripts and tools for testing and validation purposes.
Proficient in using Robot Framework for automated testing and acceptance testing of automotive software.
Ability to design and implement test cases using Robot Framework for various automotive functionalities.
Key Responsibilities:
4-10years of industry experience, with a minimum of 2 years dedicated to Automotive Infotainment Testing.
Proficiency in at least two modules of Automotive Infotainment.
Mandatory experience in CAN protocol; familiarity with CAPL scripting is an added advantage.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Proven experience in Agile-based programs with a good understanding of Scrum methodologies.
Advantageous to have experience in any automation tools and practices.
Take ownership of testing for one or more modules within an Infotainment system, ensuring high-quality standards.
Develop, write, and update manual test cases for comprehensive test coverage.
Execute both manual and automated testing procedures.
Conduct exploratory testing to identify potential system vulnerabilities and user experience improvements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Proven track record in Automotive Infotainment Testing.
Familiarity with CAPL scripting is a plus.
Adaptability and ability to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative work environment.
