Senior Developer / Mid-Range Developer

Roles and responsibilities:

• Development of assigned requirements.
• Attend refinement sessions and be an active participant in technical design solutions.
• Peer code reviews.
• Prepare technical documentation.
• Code version control using Bitbucket.
• Attend daily standups and weekly project check ins.

Required skills and experience:

• Java 4+ years
• Docker, some experience
• Microservices
• AWS or Azure
• Bitbucket
• Some frontend experience

Desired skills and experience:

• C#
• Typescript
• SASS, JSP, Handlebars, Vanilla JS (legacy), NodeJS with Express, Python (scripting)
• Cloud Security - Best practices for securing cloud applications.
• Messaging Systems - Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.
• CI/CD Awareness - Understanding of pipelines; note: CI/CD is managed by client's dev team and handed off to a separate DevOps team for deployment.
