Description

 

Smart Office Automation (SOA) is growing in the Austin market, and we’re looking for an experienced Field Service Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for a technician who takes pride in quality work, customer service, and accountability.

What You’ll Be Working On

  • Service, maintenance, and repair of office equipment, including:
     
    • Sharp (preferred)
       
    • Kyocera
       
    • Canon
       
    • Ricoh
       
    • Konica Minolta
       
  • Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and software issues
     
  • Installing and configuring new equipment
     
  • Managing service calls efficiently and professionally
     
  • Maintaining accurate service documentation and system updates
     

What We’re Looking For

  • Prior field service technician experience required
     
  • Hands-on experience with at least one major copier/MFP brand
     
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
     
  • Professional, customer-first mindset
     
  • Ability to manage time, routes, and service calls independently
     
  • Comfortable using service software, remote diagnostics, and mobile tools
     
  • Valid Texas driver’s license and clean driving record
     

Nice to Have (Not Required)

  • Sharp certification or prior Sharp dealer experience
     
  • Network printing and basic IT troubleshooting experience
     
  • Experience with Printanista, remote tech tools, or similar platforms
