Job Overview:
Sr Smallworld Developer who has 4-7 years of strong expertise in the Smallworld Suite, who can also mentor junior developers and take ownership of customizations and Magik development.
Key Technical Skills Required:
- Strong understanding of Smallworld 5 architecture
- Hands-on experience with:
- PNI / BM / PRA / EO
- Data Model (DM), CASE tools
- FME & Oracle
- Magik & Java programming
- Experience in:
- Data migration & upgrade projects
- Agile development environments
- Knowledge of Git (source code management)
Core Responsibilities:
- Own and deliver assigned modules end-to-end
- Develop using Magik, perform unit testing, and write MUnit tests
- Provide technical leadership & problem-solving
- Participate in Smallworld upgrades (to version 5)
- Ensure proper technical/functional documentation
- Work collaboratively as a team player with strong communication skills
Additional Expectations:
- Ability to mentor junior developers
- Strong communication skills (Hindi & English)
- Experience with Agile methodologies
