We are looking for a dependable, positive, and hands-on Shift Lead / Shift Supervisor to help lead daily operations at our Denver Starbucks location.
This is a working leadership position. You will be on the floor with the team, helping create a welcoming experience for customers while keeping the shift organized, clean, fast, and professional.
The right person is steady under pressure, respectful with coworkers, comfortable giving direction, and willing to lead by example. We are looking for someone who understands that great service starts with eye contact, consistency, kindness, and accountability.
Responsibilities
As a Shift Lead, you will help:
Lead baristas during assigned shifts and keep the team focused, organized, and supported.
Create a warm and professional customer experience.
Coach partners in customer service, drink quality, speed, cleanliness, and store standards.
Support opening, closing, and daily shift routines.
Handle cash, deposits, till counts, and other cash-control procedures as assigned.
Maintain food safety, cleanliness, sanitation, and health-code standards.
Respond calmly and professionally to customer concerns.
Help maintain product quality, stock levels, store presentation, and operational flow.
Communicate clearly with the store manager and leadership team.
Set the tone on the floor through maturity, punctuality, fairness, and a strong work ethic.
Qualifications
Prior Starbucks, coffee shop, restaurant, hospitality, or retail leadership experience preferred.
Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to work early mornings, weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts as needed.
Comfortable standing for long periods, lifting product, cleaning, stocking, and working on the floor.
Must be able to follow company policies, food-safety standards, and cash-handling procedures.
