What you bring
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
· 3–5 years of relevant industry experience
· Experience or strong familiarity with EDA, CAD, or semiconductor design automation workflows
· Experience with workflow automation
· Experience using Machine learning models to solve EDA challenges.
Core Technical Skills
· Strong programming skills in Python and at least one of C++ or Tcl
· Hands-on experience with industry-standard EDA tools (e.g., simulation, synthesis, P&R, verification, or flow automation)
· Extensive experience working in Linux/Unix environments
· Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and/or Perforce
EDA Automation & Infrastructure
· Experience developing or maintaining EDA workflows, scripts, and automation frameworks
· Familiarity with batch processing systems, job scheduling, and flow orchestration
· Experience designing and maintaining SQL databases to support engineering workflows, metadata, or result tracking
Software Engineering & Operations
· Ability to host, operate, and scale web-based software tools in Unix/Linux environments
· Experience setting up and maintaining Apache (or similar) web servers in on-premises environments
· Working knowledge of secure and reliable software development practices, including branching strategies such as Gitflow
Cloud & Modern Tooling
· Experience or familiarity with at least one cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
· Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, or similar) to improve productivity and automation
