About the role
At Skyworks, we are seeking a talented Director of Enterprise Systems with expertise in AI/ML and Data Architecture to join our team in Irvine, CA. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-level AI and data solutions, ensuring seamless integration and scalability across our global operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the strategic vision and roadmap for Skyworks' enterprise AI/ML and data architecture initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and translate them into innovative technological solutions
- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of AI/ML models and data pipelines to enhance operational efficiency, decision-making, and customer experience
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuously evaluate emerging technologies to identify opportunities for competitive advantage
- Mentor and lead a team of talented data engineers, data scientists, and AI/ML specialists
- Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of Skyworks' data and AI infrastructure
- Collaborate with IT, cybersecurity, and compliance teams to maintain data governance and regulatory adherence
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise-level data and AI/ML architecture design and implementation
- Strong background in leading cross-functional teams and driving complex, large-scale projects to successful completion
- Expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing techniques
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and cloud-based data and AI platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Proven track record of delivering innovative solutions that drive measurable business impact
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field (preferred)
