About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Backend Engineer (Infrastructure) to join our engineering team. In this role, you will play a key part in building and maintaining the infrastructure that powers our core platforms. Your work will directly influence the scalability, reliability, and performance of our backend systems.

Responsibilities

1. Design, build, and maintain scalable backend infrastructure components.
2. Optimize performance and reliability of backend services and APIs.
3. Manage deployment processes, CI/CD pipelines, and system monitoring tools.
4. Collaborate with DevOps, SRE, and other engineering teams to ensure high availability and fault tolerance.
5. Ensure best practices in security, performance, and reliability are followed across services.
6. Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term fixes.

Requirements

1. 4+ years of backend development experience, preferably with Python, Go, Node.js, or Java.
2. Solid understanding of system design, microservices architecture, and infrastructure management.
3. Experience with CI/CD tools, containerization (Docker), and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
4. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform).
5. Strong understanding of logging, monitoring, and alerting systems.
6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team.
