About the role
Skydance Animation is seeking summer interns for our Production Management department. We are looking for individuals who are eager to join a collaborative creative studio and have an interest in learning about the various areas of production support (art, script, story, editorial) for Animation.
Our internship program offers its own unique opportunities for learning and engagement. You will have the chance to network and meet with Skydance leaders, learn transferable skills, and gain real-world work experience. It is an experience ideal for those moving from classroom to the industry.
Responsibilities:
Develop an understanding of the Animation Production process and pipeline
Learn various production softwares: Shotgrid, Flix, FilemakerPro, SharePoint, etc.
Support and assist daily needs of production departments in the various stages
Attend production meetings or film screenings – assist with taking, logging, and distribution of notes
Maintain and organize filing systems
Track statuses and maintain awareness of production timeline
Handle confidential correspondence, reports, and other documents

Ad hoc duties as necessary
Requirements:
Available for a 10-week, hybrid program running Monday, June 9 – Friday, August 15
Must be available full-time (9:00 AM-6:00 PM PT) – on-site Monday – Thursday (reasonable accommodations may be considered)
Must be enrolled at an accredited institution for duration of internship participation
Passion for the Animation/Entertainment industry, focus on Production a plus
Proficiency in Google tools and MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
Self-starter with proficient writing and critical thinking skills, attention to detail
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced media environment
Strong communication skills, written and verbal
