About the role

We're looking for a proactive and people-focused Service Desk Team Leader to join our ICT team in Auckland. Mō te Tūranga | About the Role In this leadership role, you'll manage a team of Service Desk Analysts, ensuring the delivery of exceptional first- and second-line support across SkyCity. This is a hands-on role where you'll lead by example, provide technical guidance, and ensure smooth operations across all IT service desk functions. Managing team performance, recruitment, induction, and development. Leading escalations and ensuring timely resolution of incidents and service requests. Overseeing rostering and coverage to maintain consistent support. Liaising with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve issues. Supporting infrastructure and software installations, account administration, and equipment logistics. Mōu | About You You're a skilled IT professional with a strong customer service ethos and proven leadership experience. You thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy mentoring others, and are passionate about delivering high-quality support. Experience with Microsoft Office and Microsoft OS systems. People management or supervisory experience. Strong communication and technical skills. Excellent customer service focus.
