About the role

We're a small hotel with a technology niche that moves fast and is growing both in guest stays and number of rooms by means of construction.


As well as our hotel and resto ops we are also building tech to support the industry.


Full booking calendars need great storytelling that attracts the right travellers and local food-lovers and exceptional stays require smooth back-office ops, proactive guest care, and


We need an on-site digital marketing storyteller & ops associate who's an expert communicator and team player who can jump from supplier to spreadsheet tweaks to influencer brunches—without dropping the ball.


About the role

This is a hybrid role with a mix of creative opportunities and some more day-to-day.


It is important that you have digital marketing experience and that you're the kind of person who is super organised. The hospitality operations side can be easily covered with training.


Responsibilities

Marketing activation across our hotel & restaurant operations

  • Create engaging stories across Instagram, TikTok, blog, and email to bring our coliving and restaurant experience to life
  • Write and edit social captions, blog posts with a clear, consistent brand voice
  • Turn real guest moments, team culture, and behind-the-scenes content into compelling digital narratives
  • Plan and publish content calendars, ensuring regular and on-brand output
  • Collaborate with the team to shoot or direct short videos and social content
  • Support content-driven campaigns that drive bookings, events, and footfall
  • Track content performance and suggest improvements based on insights
  • Stay up to date with social trends and bring fresh ideas to the table


Ops oversight

  • Continual improvement and recommendations on ops + guest experience
  • Maintenance tickets escalated within 2 hours
  • SOP gaps flagged with proposed solutions
  • Reconciliation of payments in ERP against accounts


About You

Must-haves

  • 2–4 yrs experience in digital marketing
  • You can produce marketing content that will resonate with an international audience
  • Good with computers Google sheets or Excel
  • Expert communicator in English & Swahili, online and face-to-face
  • Proven track record juggling multiple work streams without losing detail


Nice-to-haves

  • Digital marketing experience
  • Basic photo/video editing chops for IG Reels or TikTok
  • Knowledge of any bookkeeping
  • Previous experience in construction / facilities supply chain
