The key purpose of the position is to take the control of Legal dept for the entire region assigned and look after all legal cases , of the area under the control and to safeguard Company’s legal interest and would provide the necessary legal support on designated areas.
- Responsibilities to providing legal support to all vertical of the assigned territory, support to NPA and Bad Debts-Write-off team for auto financing business
- Recoveries of Provisioning cases, co- ordinate with other departments for smooth working.
- Manage Repo and Disposal of assets by legal support, ensure to follow procedures, rules, regulations meeting business and legal requirements
- to ensure all compliance of law and to provide proper appropriate support for the smooth functioning ofvarious department.
- Developing robust litigation process for the assigned territory.
- Work to protect assets and employee of the company
- Providing legal tools for resolutions of NPA and BD contracts
- Ensuring execution of available legal tools for Fraud Management.
- Outsource Agency management for Legal tools execution and handling Criminal Matters
- Lay down litigation process meeting the legal environment.
- Provide system based legal tools to circle team.
- Reviewing implementation of policies, observing variations and guiding for corrective actions duly documented.
- Ensure legal cases filled at the regions are concluded to its logical end within the defined TAT.
- To determine the TAT for each activity in consultation with the team and ensure the compliance.
- Reviewing movement of cases, impact of the litigation in terms of resolutions and recovery.
- Duly approving engagement of lawyers as per the recommendations of Regional Managers
- Frequently visit of all Regional/ Territory/ Branch offices of the States, Meeting with teams, timely providing guidance and Knowledge sharing of current working Portals.
- Resolution of online complaint of Customers by providing appropriate salutation
- Rendering regular feedback to the sale and collection team on the portfolio performance, quality of sourcing, turnaround and market trends.
- Design and develop Legal collections system to automate routine affairs like notice management, arbitrations, and execution.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Minimum 1-2 Years experience in the similar role
- Ability to effectively communicate internally and externally with stakeholders.
- Team mangement, channel management, leadership skills
- Candidate must be detail-oriented and an excellent communicator
- Self-starter comfortable with managing through some ambiguity, pro-activelyreaching out and identifying areas to be strengthened and following up with strong execution.
