The job:
As our Engineering Intern, you will learn general process automation and controls technology, support engineers in daily work and increase your excitement about a career in Systems Engineering and Integration. The work you will do includes:
- Perform reviews and checks of control panel drawings
- Work with experienced engineers through LangeTech/SJE Programming and Troubleshooting training program
- Develop training PLC and HMI applications using LangeTech/SJE standards and best practices.
- Work with and assist experienced engineers to learn the process of design, manufacturing, programming, testing installation, and startup activities.
The skills, education, and experience you need:
To succeed in this role, you must:
- Have a strong desire to learn
- Possess the ability to follow direction but also be able to self-lead with minimal input
- Have an interest in Systems Engineering or Systems Integration
The ideal candidate should be pursuing an electrical, industrial, computer or mechanical engineering degree with a minimum of one year in the program.
