POSITION SUMMARY
Prepares and cooks meals for guests and employees while demonstrating quality, quantity and safety in a working environment.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- · Strive to uphold all hygiene and sanitary regulations and be clean and presentable at all times.
- · Follow production lists.
- · Prepare raw ingredients into finished product, per specifications.
- · Maintain work area for safety.
- · Assist other associates to ensure all kitchen duties are completed within given time.
- · Assist with order preparation.
- · Suggest new food items.
- · Assist with special events.
- · Bake breads and pastry.
- · Performs any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS
- · High School Diploma or equivalent.
- · Vocational training and/or previous food experience preferred.
- · Sanitation and safe food handling certification required.
- · Ability to maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and the public.
- · Ability to exercise initiative, sound judgment, logic and problem solving skills.
- · Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- · Must be able to lift and carry up to (50) pounds.
- · Pre-employment drug testing with applicants receiving an offer of conditional employment.
- · Must be able to obtain a Blackfeet Tribal Gaming License.
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience with data entry and data management.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Good interpersonal skills required.
- Must be reliable (good attendance and punctuality), organized, flexible, and posses excellent time management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy required.
- Must possess a high level of integrity, and ability to maintain confidential information.
