Role: Java Software Engineerwith AWS
Location:Bangalore (Remote is ok)

CLIENT IS WORKING ON-
Hands on coding on Java and Python. They are working on AWS and Cloudflare. SQL scripting and NoSQL. Microservices running on Java. There is a tool called DBT for processing of data and use AWS analytics services like GLUE, S3, Athena. Client is looking to migrating to warehouse like AWS REDSHIFT an d other projects in python. Working on other projects on Generative AI where they serve the data for Gen AI models, process raw data and create data set and for that they use Python. Mix of python and Java.
JAVA CLOUD ENGINEER plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of our cloud infrastructure and driving organizational transformation. You will be at the forefront of building and optimizing our cloud-native infrastructure, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our critical data platform. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on a fast-growing company that is revolutionizing how e-commerce businesses engage with their customers.
What You'll Do:
*Design, build, and maintain innovative cloud-native infrastructure on public cloud platforms (primarily AWS, Cloudflare).
*Enhance, optimize, and automate our existing AWS cloud infrastructure to improve efficiency, security, and cost-effectiveness.
*Develop and implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform to automate the provisioning and management of cloud resources.
*Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to streamline software delivery and deployment.
*Configure, manage, and monitor databases such as Postgres (AWS RDS) and Redis (AWS Elasticache) to ensure optimal performance and availability.
*Automate operational tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
*Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of applications and services with our cloud infrastructure.
*Contribute to the development and maintenance of our monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve potential issues.
*Champion DevOps best practices and principles throughout the organization.
What You Bring:
*5+ years of industry experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or a related field; or a relevant academic background.
*Deep proficiency in Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm charts, and GitHub Actions.
*Strong scripting and automation skills with Python and Java.
*Proven experience configuring, managing, and optimizing databases like Postgres (AWS RDS) and Redis (AWS Elasticache).
*Solid understanding of networking principles, security best practices, and cloud computing concepts.
*A passion for automation and a strong desire to improve processes.
*Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
*A proactive and problem-solving mindset.
