Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and proactive Diploma / B.E. in Electrical to oversee the operation and maintenance (O&M) of a 1 MW Solar Power Plant. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring uninterrupted plant performance, carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance, and conducting periodic inspections to maximize energy generation and equipment life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate, monitor, and maintain the solar power plant to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and periodic checks on inverters, transformers, switchgear, protection systems, and other electrical components.
- Perform troubleshooting, fault analysis, and corrective actions in case of system breakdowns or performance issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, electrical codes, and company protocols during all maintenance activities.
- Prepare and maintain records of plant performance, energy generation, downtime, and maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for specialized maintenance works.
- Implement predictive and condition-based monitoring techniques to reduce downtime.
- Support reporting, documentation, and audits as required by management.
- Ensure efficient utilization of spares and tools required for maintenance activities.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Diploma / B.E. in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Prior experience in Operation & Maintenance (O&M) of solar power plants is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems including inverters, transformers, and switchgear.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical manuals.
- Good problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with SCADA monitoring systems will be an added advantage.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
Employment Type: Full-Time Experience: 2–3 years preferred Compensation: Rs. 12000 - 20000 (based on experience)
