Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Site Supervisor (Interior Design) role based in Chennai. The Site Supervisor will oversee day-to-day site activities for residential and commercial interior projects, ensuring that work aligns with approved designs, quality standards, and project timelines. Responsibilities include coordinating with designers, contractors, and vendors; monitoring material deliveries and installation; and resolving site-level issues promptly. The role involves conducting regular site inspections, verifying measurements, ensuring adherence to safety practices, and updating project stakeholders on progress. The Site Supervisor will also interact with clients on-site to clarify design details, manage expectations, and support a smooth handover of completed spaces.
Qualifications
- Strong project management skills to plan, schedule, and monitor interior site activities through to completion.
- Proven team leadership abilities to guide site staff, contractors, and vendors toward timely, high-quality execution.
- Customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients, address concerns, and maintain professional relationships on-site.
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and a solid foundation in interior design principles, drawings, and specifications.
- Relevant experience in interior fit-out or construction supervision, preferably in residential and commercial projects.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, BOQs, and site layouts with strong attention to detail and quality.
- Good problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills, with the capacity to handle multiple sites or tasks as required.
- Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
