Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Site Supervisor located in Chennai. The Site Supervisor will oversee daily construction activities, ensuring that projects are executed according to approved plans and timelines. Responsibilities include monitoring work teams, ensuring safety standards are adhered to, managing materials and resources, and resolving on-site issues. The role also involves regularly reporting progress to project managers, maintaining quality control, and coordinating with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, technical drawings, and quality control standards.
- Proficiency in supervising teams, managing work schedules, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Skills in problem-solving, decision-making, and efficient resource allocation.
- Basic computer skills for report preparation and communication tools.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Previous experience as a Site Supervisor or in a similar role is preferred.
- Educational qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with local construction regulations and standards would be a significant advantage.
