Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Site Supervisor based in Mumbai (near Nalasopara East Station).
The role involves supervising and monitoring construction activities executed by contractors and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and safety regulations across residential and commercial redevelopment projects.
This position is not execution-focused, but requires strong on-site supervision, coordination, and quality control to ensure all work is carried out as per approved drawings and specifications.
We are looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented professional who takes ownership of site supervision, contractor coordination, and quality assurance from foundation to final handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor all site activities carried out by contractors and subcontractors
- Ensure all works are executed and completed by contractors and subcontractors in accordance with approved drawings, BOQs, specifications, required quality standards and technical specifications
- Oversee construction progress from foundation, piling, RCC stages to finishing and handover, ensuring proper execution by contractors
- Coordinate with multiple contractors and site teams to maintain workflow and project timelines
- Inspect and verify quality of materials and workmanship at every stage of construction
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify deviations, delays, and quality issues
- Verify site measurements and progress for contractor billing and reporting (no billing preparation)
- Monitor contractor execution of RCC works (shuttering, reinforcement, concreting)
- Supervise finishing activities including plaster, tiling, waterproofing, painting, and final finishing works
- Track and monitor material usage and control wastage, ensuring proper handling by contractors
- Maintain daily progress reports (DPR) and ensure labour discipline and safety compliance through contractor teams
- Coordinate, oversee and manage across civil, finishing, electrical, plumbing, tiles, doors and other trades, contractors, sub contractors for smooth site execution
- Oversee final stage quality checks including snagging, punch point checks and overall site readiness prior to handover
- Report daily site updates, issues, and progress to management
Qualifications and Skills:=
- Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering (preferred)
- 2–4 years of on-site supervision experience in real estate / redevelopment projects
- Strong knowledge of RCC works, finishing works, and construction processes
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, layouts, and BOQs
- Experience in contractor coordination and site supervision (not execution)
- Understanding of quality control and site inspection practices
- Basic knowledge of material handling, site practices, and safety norms
- Familiarity with local construction regulations in Mumbai is an advantage
- Strong observation, reporting, and coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple contractors and site activities simultaneously
Job Details
Location: Near Nalasopara East Station (Mumbai Suburban)
Working Hours: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM (Monday to Sunday)
Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹40,000 per month (based on experience)
