Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Site Supervisor based in Bengaluru. The Site Supervisor will oversee daily installation and maintenance activities for commercial furniture projects, ensuring work is completed safely, accurately, and within agreed timelines. Responsibilities include coordinating and guiding installation teams, monitoring progress on-site, managing materials and tools, and maintaining clear communication with project managers and client representatives. The role also involves conducting quality checks, resolving on-site issues, enforcing safety standards, and documenting project status and completion details. The Site Supervisor will be expected to support continuous improvement in processes and contribute to a professional and collaborative work environment.
Qualifications
- Experience supervising on-site installation or construction activities, with the ability to coordinate teams and manage daily work schedules.
- Strong skills in site management, including quality control, safety compliance, and basic troubleshooting of installation-related issues.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with team members, clients, and internal stakeholders in a clear and professional manner.
- Ability to read and interpret installation plans, layouts, and basic technical documentation related to commercial furniture projects.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet project deadlines consistently.
- Basic computer literacy for reporting, documentation, and use of project management or tracking tools.
- Prior experience in furniture installation, fit-out projects, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Relevant diploma or certification in engineering, construction, or a related discipline is preferred; equivalent practical experience will be considered.
