Role Description The Site Engineer will be responsible for supervising and coordinating on-site engineering activities for corrosion management and coating application projects in the Bharuch district. This full-time, on-site role includes overseeing surface preparation and coating work, monitoring quality control procedures, and ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety guidelines, and relevant standards. The Site Engineer will liaise with civil and structural engineering teams, contractors, and inspection personnel, maintain daily site records, and support AMPP-based and third-party inspections. The role also involves supporting project planning, resolving technical issues at site, and providing clear communication to stakeholders on progress, risks, and corrective actions.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong on-site supervision skills and familiarity with field execution in industrial or infrastructure projects.
- Candidates should possess effective communication skills for coordinating with project teams, contractors, and inspection authorities.
- Candidates should possess quality control skills, including monitoring workmanship, adherence to specifications, and documentation of inspections.
- Candidates should possess structural engineering or civil engineering knowledge relevant to industrial structures, plants, and critical infrastructure.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering discipline.
- Understanding of corrosion protection, industrial coatings, and safety practices in plant environments is an advantage.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and quality standards.
- Proficiency in basic project reporting, MS Office tools, and site documentation.
- Prior experience in industrial, petrochemical, refinery, or power plant projects will be beneficial.
