Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Site Supervisor role based in Thane. The Site Supervisor will oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring that construction and fit-out works follow approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Responsibilities include coordinating with architects, interior designers, contractors, and vendors; monitoring work progress against schedules; and addressing site issues promptly. The role involves supervising site teams, enforcing safety and compliance requirements, managing material deliveries and usage, and maintaining accurate site records and daily reports. The Site Supervisor will also support quality checks, snag lists, and handover processes to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Qualifications
- Experience in site supervision for architecture, interior design, fit-out, or construction projects, preferably in residential or commercial interiors.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, finishes, and on-site quality control practices.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, interior, and services drawings and ensure accurate execution on-site.
- Proficiency in site coordination, including scheduling, vendor and contractor management, and progress tracking.
- Understanding of workplace and site safety practices, regulatory guidelines, and basic compliance requirements.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and clients.
- Strong problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks on-site.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related discipline, or equivalent site experience.
- Comfort working full time on-site in Thane and managing field conditions, site visits, and extended hours when needed.
- Familiarity with basic digital tools (email, spreadsheets, messaging, and documentation apps); knowledge of project management or CAD tools is an advantage.
