Role Description The Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations at renovation project sites in Dubai, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards. This full-time, on-site role includes coordinating with architects, interior designers, engineers, and contractors, as well as managing skilled workers and sub-contractors. The Site Supervisor monitors progress against project plans, verifies material usage and workmanship, and ensures adherence to design specifications and local regulations. The role also involves conducting site inspections, addressing on-site issues, maintaining accurate records, and providing regular updates to project managers and clients. The Site Supervisor promotes a safe work environment, supports transparent communication, and helps maintain high levels of client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Strong site supervision and construction management skills, including coordination of workforce, scheduling, and on-site problem solving.
- Experience with residential renovation activities such as civil and structural modifications, flooring and tiling, carpentry, electrical and plumbing upgrades, and finishing works.
- Knowledge of quality control, safety standards, and compliance with local building codes and regulations in Dubai.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior design drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Proficiency in basic project documentation, reporting, and use of digital tools for site tracking and communication.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills to work effectively with clients, designers, engineers, and on-site teams.
- Prior experience as a Site Supervisor or similar role in home renovation or construction; experience in Dubai or the GCC region is an advantage.
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field preferred; relevant vocational certifications are beneficial.
- Ability to work full time on-site, handle multiple projects, and adapt to changing priorities while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
