Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Site Supervisor, located in the Kolkata metropolitan area. The Site Supervisor will oversee daily construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards. Responsibilities include managing on-site labor, coordinating with contractors, monitoring project progress, resolving any on-site issues, and ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications. Close collaboration with clients and project managers to ensure smooth operations and satisfaction is also part of the role.
Qualifications
- Project Management, Site Coordination, and Vendor Management skills
- Knowledge of Construction Methods, Safety Standards, and Equipment Handling
- Leadership and Team Management abilities
- Problem-Solving, Decision-Making, and Conflict-Resolution Skills
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Proficiency in using project management and scheduling software
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in the Kolkata region
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Prior experience in site supervision or a similar role in construction projects
