Job Title: Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our infrastructure and apps. Ideal candidate to have expertise in cloud environments, automation, observability, and DevOps practices to enhance system resilience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and highly available infrastructure.
- Develop and enforce SRE best practices, including SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for streamlined deployments.
- Improve system observability through logging, monitoring, and alerting using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Stack-driver.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and incident response to minimize downtime.
- Optimize performance, reliability, and scalability of cloud-based services.
- Collaborate with developers and operations to improve system resilience.
- Implement security best practices and compliance standards.
- Continuously research and integrate new technologies to improve system efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (GKE) and container orchestration.
- Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Cloud Build.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go.
- Deep understanding of networking, security best practices, and IAM policies.
- Experience with incident management, post-mortem analysis, and performance tuning.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
