What We’re Looking For:
• Strong hands-on experience in Linux System Administration
• Experience managing On-Premise / Data Center Infrastructure
• Strong understanding of Virtual Machines / Virtualization and Bare Metal Environments
• Hands-on experience with Docker (Non-Kubernetes setups preferred)
• Good operational knowledge of Nginx, Redis, Kafka, RDBMS, and Java-based environments
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
• Strong knowledge of Git-based version control
• Hands-on experience in Ansible and Shell Scripting (Bash)
• Experience with Monitoring, Logging, and Observability tools such as ELK, Grafana,
Prometheus
• Strong understanding of Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancing, Firewalls,
WAF)
• Experience in Incident Management, RCA, Reliability Improvements, and Capacity Planning
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and optimize virtualized environments and containerized workloads on bare metal
• Maintain and scale middleware systems like Nginx, Redis, and Kafka
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
• Manage infrastructure and application configurations using Git
• Ensure high availability, resilience, and performance tuning across critical systems
• Administer and troubleshoot Linux servers in production environments
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Ansible and Shell scripting
• Monitor and improve system health through metrics, logs, tracing, dashboards, and alerting
• Handle incident response, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and drive reliability
improvements
• Collaborate with application, security, and DevOps teams to support production stability
• Work on networking and security configurations including firewalls, WAF, DNS, and load
balancing
• Support capacity planning, asset management, and operational excellence
Good to Have:
• Experience in Payments / UPI / High TPS systems
• Exposure to low-latency / real-time systems
• Knowledge of Ceph / SAN / Storage systems
• Experience with HA / DR design patterns
• Experience working in regulated / secure production environments (PCI-DSS,
compliance-heavy setups)
