Lead SRE
Engineer / Technical Manager (Experience: 9 to 12 Years) Role
Overview The
Lead DevOps & SRE Engineer will define the operational strategy,
technical roadmap, and automation foundation for a
mature Application Ops function. This
role owns reliability, availability, operational governance, and
enablement of onshore/offshore teams. You are
expected to build the incident management process and define
the SLA for incident priority, escalation, on-call rotation, and other ITSM
processes from the ground up. Should be good at documentation,
drafting architecture diagrams, and system flow. Key
Responsibilities
and lead a multi‑shift SRE/DevOps Ops model
(16×5 coverage) and on-call if required on a
rotational basis.
Architect end-to-end observability, proactive monitoring, and self‑healing
systems.
SLOs, error budgets, and operational KPIs.
Infrastructure‑as‑Code adoption and Ops tooling modernization.
complex incidents, cross-team bridges, and executive communications.
Develop automation strategy: predictive analytics, auto-healing, dependency
tracing.
strict ITSM compliance and operational process maturity.
Conduct quarterly operational reviews and roadmap planning.
offshore/onshore teams and remove SME dependencies through
documentation. Required
Skills
years in SRE, DevOps, Infrastructure, or Platform Engineering.
Expertise in distributed systems, cloud platforms, and
observability.
Ability to lead teams and influence cross-functional engineering
groups.
Proven track record improving uptime, MTTR, and operational
maturity.
ITSM knowledge with governance and compliance experience.
Mastery of IaC, automation frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines.
