🔨 We're Hiring: Site Manager – Interiors | Chandigarh Tricity
Grey Hammer Designs & Solutions LLP is a design-and-build firm delivering high-quality interior fit-out projects across Chandigarh, Mohali, and Panchkula. We are looking for a seasoned, hands-on Site Manager to join us immediately.
What the role involves
You will be the firm's eyes and boots on site — managing daily progress across trades, driving sub-contractors to deliver on time and to standard, and ensuring the finish quality we've promised our clients. You will read and interpret interior drawings and shop drawings, coordinate material deliveries against the programme, conduct quality checks at each stage, and prepare daily progress reports for the principal.
This is not a supervisory-in-name-only role. We need someone who walks the site, knows when a miter isn't tight enough, and isn't hesitant to stop bad work before it gets covered up.
What we're looking for
- 6–10 years of hands-on site experience in interior fit-outs — residential, commercial, or hospitality
- Solid working knowledge across core interior trades: carpentry and joinery, false ceiling systems, flooring, wall finishes, paint, glass, MEP coordination
- Proven ability to manage multiple sub-contractors simultaneously without losing the thread
- Reads drawings confidently; familiar with BOQ and material reconciliation
- Based in or willing to work across the Chandigarh tricity
- Diploma or degree in Civil, Architecture, or Interior Design preferred — but demonstrated site experience counts for more
