Role Description The Site Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai, responsible for overseeing day-to-day project activities at the site. This position coordinates project scheduling, resource allocation, and site logistics, ensuring that work progresses according to plan, specifications, and safety standards. The role involves supervising site teams, contractors, and vendors, monitoring project milestones, and resolving operational issues to minimize delays. The Site Project Manager will perform regular inspections, track progress, report status to senior management and clients, and manage documentation and compliance with quality and regulatory requirements. The role also includes working closely with procurement, expediting, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess experience in Project Management, including planning, scheduling, and coordination of site activities.
- Candidates should possess skills in Expediting and work experience as an Expeditor, ensuring timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Candidates should possess capabilities in Inspection, with a focus on quality control, safety compliance, and adherence to engineering standards.
- Candidates should possess skills in Logistics Management, including coordination of material movement, site deliveries, and inventory handling.
- Relevant engineering degree or diploma (Electrical, mechanical) is preferred.
- Experience managing construction or industrial project sites, ideally in a similar role.
- Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to lead diverse site teams, solve problems under time constraints, and maintain accurate project documentation.
