Role Description
This is a contractual on-site role for a Site In charge & In charge of Mechanical Installation in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. Candidate should be from Mechanical Engineering background with experience in installation, erection, testing and commissioning of STP/WTP systems with heavy mechanical and piping work.
Position : Site-In-Charge - Mechanical (STP/WTP Projects).
Location : Trichy, Tamil Nadu.
Type of Engagement : On Service Contract till further notice.
Min. Qualification : B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience : Maximum 15 years of work experience.
Brief Job Responsibilities :
- Lead erection, testing and commissioning of STP/WTP mechanical systems as site-in-charge.
- Planning and scheduling and successful execution of E&C work in specific time frame.
- Liason with Client / HO / Contractor / local authority / statutory dept.
- Regular Interaction with client and contractors to ensure job progress and to achieve delivery / completion target.
- To Ensure safety measures to achieve zero accident
- To Ensure security and wellness of materials / equipment till handover to client
- To ensure IEIL & Clients quality standard
- Supervise installation of pumps, valves, piping, vessels and mechanical equipment.
- Plan and manage site execution activities to meet project timelines.
- Candidate must posses experience in Project Installation & Commissioning Preferably in field of Water Treatment plant E&C .
- Experience in installation of Large Vessels, Piping Works, Pumps, Valves and other mechanical systems is mandatory.
Special Skills :
- Experience in STP / WTP project execution.
- Strong exposure to industrial piping, pumps, valves and mechanical installation.
- Ability to handle site execution independently as Site In-Charge.
- Hands on experience on Erection- testing-commissioning green field project, preferably of STP.
- Experience on erection of large vessels, tanks, pipeline, pumps, valves, motors, instruments and electrical equippments and systems etc.
- Experience on fully auto plant commissioning and succesful handover.
