Job Family Summary: The Support Leader role is part of our broader job family that focuses on providing assistance and guidance in executing strategies within the team or organization. This job family is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our business functions.
You will be leading a large site’s Health, Safety and Environmental Systems with productions involving different complex technologies and products of different forms. You will be ensuring that we stay compliant and making our workplace ‘Safer Every Day’ through right interventions across different systems.
Your team
This role reports to Site Technical Systems Manager & leads a team of 4 qualified technicians in their respective HS&E systems.

- Building Safety Capability and Qualifications across the site organization to move towards an interdependent safety culture
- Enabling a Safe Workplace where no one gets hurt through High-Risk Task Eliminations, Learnings and reapplications, Strong Behavior and Culture Systems
Role Responsibilities:
- Advise and assist the factory management in the fulfilment of its obligation, statutory or otherwise, concerning prevention of personal injuries and maintaining a safe working environment.
- Advise the management of the factory in fulfilling obligations under all occupational Safety and health related legislations applicable.
- Design and implement the various creative initiatives in association with the concerned departments like campaigns, competitions, contests and other activities which will develop and maintain the interest of the workers and enhance the workers participation in occupational safety and health management.
- Design and conduct either independently or in collaboration with the training department, suitable training and educational programs towards occupational safety and health management.
- Coordinate with qualitative and quantitative risk assessment studies with either internal or external resources and follow up the compliance of all the recommendations/ suggestions.
- Coordinate all third-party inspections/survey/investigations/testing and examinations either statutory or otherwise aimed towards management of occupational safety and health.
- Investigate all reportable accidents and advise on the maintenance of such records as are necessary relating to accidents, dangerous occurrences and industrial diseases.
- Carry out detailed job safety studies and provide advice on matters related to carrying out plant safety inspections.
Job Qualifications
- Possesses a recognized degree in any branch of engineering or technology and has had practical experience of working in a factory in supervisory capacity for a period of one-two years.
- Possesses a full-time degree or diploma or certificate in industrial safety or equivalent of duration not less than one Year awarded by any university incorporated under the Central or State legislations or Department of Technical Education or Board of Technical education of any State Government of India. (The hours allocated for teaching of subjects on Industrial Safety (including industrial health) should not be less than that allocated by Central Labor Institute, Mumbai for the course of Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety. The subjects of study shall be in confirmation to the syllabus followed by Central Labor Institute, Mumbai for the course of Advanced Diploma in Industry Safety)
- Has adequate fluency in Telugu language
