Role Description The Site Engineer will oversee daily construction activities on-site in Imphal, ensuring that work is executed according to design, structural requirements, safety standards, and quality benchmarks. This full-time on-site role includes coordinating with civil engineers, contractors, and labor teams, monitoring progress, resolving technical issues, and maintaining clear documentation of site operations. The Site Engineer will review drawings, verify measurements, inspect materials, and support quality control processes throughout the project lifecycle. The role also involves communicating regularly with project managers and clients to report status, highlight risks, and support timely decision-making.
Qualifications
- Strong on-site supervision skills, with experience managing day-to-day construction activities and coordinating site teams.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with civil engineers, contractors, vendors, and clients.
- Knowledge of quality control processes, including inspection of materials, workmanship, and adherence to safety and building standards.
- Foundational understanding of structural engineering principles and their application in interior and construction projects.
- Background as a civil engineer or comparable role in construction, with ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in basic project documentation, reporting, and use of construction-related software or tools.
- Ability to work full time on-site in Imphal and adapt to changing project needs and timelines.
