About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic Site Engineer to lead the on-site execution and delivery of our retail store fit-out projects from day one to final handover.
In this role, you will be the driving force on the ground—managing multiple contractors, coordinating complex services, and ensuring our stores open on time, on budget, and to the highest brand standards. Key Responsibilities
Project Execution & Delivery: Oversee end-to-end site execution for new store build-outs, renovations, and refurbishments. Review drawings, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and specifications to ensure accuracy before builds begin.
Contractor & Vendor Management: Supervise daily coordination between civil, MEP, interior, and specialist contractors. Monitor manpower productivity, manage material flow, and validate measurement sheets and running bills before certification.
Quality & Safety Compliance: Enforce strict on-site safety standards, PPE usage, and housekeeping. Conduct site audits, manage snag reviews, and liaise with mall management, landlords, and local authorities for permits and compliance.
Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate daily progress reports, photo documentation, and snag lists. Keep dashboards updated with key milestones and delay reasons.
What We Are Looking For
The Background: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field.
The Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on experience specifically managing retail, commercial, or high-end interior fit-out projects. A proven track record with fast-track retail rollouts is highly preferred.
Technical Chops: Deep understanding of services coordination (HVAC, Electrical, Fire-Fighting) and premium interior finishes. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Excel-based reporting is required.
Site Leadership: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to manage tough contractor conversations, problem-solve on the fly, and maintain tight cost and time controls under pressure.
