ELV Site Engineer – Roles & Responsibilities
We are looking for a skilled and motivated ELV Site Engineer with experience in execution, installation, testing, commissioning, and coordination of ELV systems for commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Execution and supervision of ELV system installation activities at site.
- Handling installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of:
- CCTV Systems
- Access Control Systems
- Fire Alarm Systems
- Public Address (PA) Systems
- Structured Cabling
- BMS (Building Management System)
- Networking and Wi-Fi Systems
- Video Intercom Systems
- Coordination with clients, consultants, vendors, and other site teams for smooth project execution.
- Preparation of daily progress reports, inspection requests, and site documentation.
- Monitoring site activities as per approved drawings, standards, and project specifications.
- Conducting cable laying, termination, device mounting, and system integration activities.
- Ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion of work.
- Identifying and resolving technical issues during installation and commissioning.
- Supporting project handover, testing reports, and client demonstrations.
- Material planning, site inventory monitoring, and coordination for required resources.
- Attending site meetings and updating project status to management.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of ELV systems and site execution.
- Experience in testing & commissioning of ELV systems.
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
- Knowledge of networking basics and IP-based systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and coordination skills.
- Good communication and reporting abilities.
Preferred Qualification
- Diploma / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, or related field.
- 2–10 years of experience in ELV/BMS/FAS projects.
- Experience in commercial buildings, hospitals, hotels, or industrial projects preferred.
