Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Site Engineer – Interior Fitout based in Bengaluru. The Site Engineer will oversee day-to-day site activities for interior projects, ensuring work is executed as per drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Responsibilities include coordinating with contractors, vendors, and the internal design team; monitoring project timelines; and ensuring materials, resources, and site logistics are managed efficiently. The role involves conducting regular site inspections, tracking progress, resolving on-site issues, and maintaining accurate documentation, measurements, and reports. The Site Engineer will also support safety compliance, verify workmanship quality, and proactively communicate project status and risks to project leadership.
Qualifications
- Strong on-site execution skills, including supervision of interior fitout activities and coordination with multiple stakeholders.
- Effective communication skills for clear interaction with clients, design teams, contractors, and vendors.
- Experience in quality control, with the ability to verify workmanship, materials, and adherence to design and safety standards.
- Background in civil or structural engineering, with a preference for candidates trained as Civil Engineers or with similar technical qualifications.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Interior Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural, interior, and MEP drawings; familiarity with site measurement and basic project documentation.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage timelines in a fast-paced project environment.
- Prior experience in interior fitout, commercial or residential projects in an on-site role in Bengaluru or similar markets is an advantage.
