Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Site Engineer – Interior Fitout based in Bengaluru. The Site Engineer will oversee day-to-day site activities, including coordination with contractors, vendors, and client representatives to ensure smooth execution of interior fit-out works. Responsibilities include supervising civil and interior works, monitoring quality and workmanship, checking drawings and measurements, and ensuring adherence to design specifications and project timelines. The role involves implementing safety standards on site, managing site resources, tracking progress, and preparing daily/weekly reports. The Site Engineer will also support project managers in resolving site issues, conducting inspections, and ensuring that handovers meet agreed quality and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong on-site execution skills, with hands-on experience managing interior fit-out or civil works in commercial or corporate environments.
- Background in Civil Engineering with the ability to understand drawings, specifications, and technical details.
- Effective communication skills for coordination with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
- Experience in quality control, including monitoring workmanship, materials, and adherence to safety and compliance standards.
- Bachelor’s or Diploma degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and structural drawings; familiarity with basic project management tools is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently on site, manage multiple tasks, and meet project deadlines.
- Prior experience in office, IT, or commercial interior projects in Bengaluru or similar markets is preferred.
