Role Description The Site Engineer – Fire Fighting is a full-time, on-site role based in Pan India. The role involves overseeing installation, testing, and commissioning of firefighting and fire alarm systems at project sites, ensuring work is carried out in line with approved drawings, standards, and safety regulations. The site engineer will coordinate with civil and structural teams, contractors, and clients; monitor quality of materials and workmanship; and maintain daily site reports and documentation. Responsibilities include supervising site personnel, conducting inspections, resolving technical issues, and supporting project timelines and cost control. The role also requires close collaboration with the design and project management teams to implement solutions and ensure compliance with relevant codes.
Qualifications
- Ability to work effectively in on-site project environments, including active construction sites and operational facilities.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, contractors, and clients and to prepare clear reports and documentation.
- Experience with quality control processes, including inspection of installations, verification against standards, and adherence to safety procedures.
- Knowledge of structural engineering concepts and integration of firefighting systems with building structures.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in fire engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
- Understanding of relevant fire safety codes and standards (e.g., NFPA, IS) and local authority requirements.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet project deadlines, and maintain high safety and quality standards.
- Prior experience in fire fighting system installation, commissioning, or maintenance is preferred but not mandatory for strong entry-level candidates.
