About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive and technically sound Site Engineer to join our structural consultancy team. Unlike a contractor-based execution role, this position focuses on site inspection, quality monitoring, and technical supervision from the consultant’s perspective.
The Site Engineer will visit project sites regularly to ensure that structural works are being executed as per issued structural drawings, office instructions, approved details, and engineering standards. The role requires strong technical understanding, observation skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively with contractors, clients, architects, and the design office.
This role is critical in ensuring that the structural intent and engineering standards developed by the design office are properly implemented on site.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education:
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering
Experience:
- 2–5 years of experience in structural site supervision, quality inspection, or RCC execution.
- Experience in residential, commercial, industrial, or high-rise building projects preferred.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of RCC construction practices and structural drawings.
- Knowledge of reinforcement detailing, shuttering inspections, and concreting procedures.
- Familiarity with IS codes and structural quality standards.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to independently handle site inspections and contractor coordination.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office preferred.
