Role Description This full-time Site Engineer role is an on-site position based in Jamnagar. The Site Engineer oversees daily construction activities, ensuring work is executed according to design specifications, quality standards, and safety guidelines. Responsibilities include coordinating with civil engineers, contractors, and workers, monitoring project progress, and resolving technical or operational issues on site. The role involves conducting inspections, maintaining site records, reporting on project status, and supporting structural engineering and quality control processes. The Site Engineer also assists in planning resources, managing timelines, and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong on-site and civil engineering skills, with experience working as Civil Engineers in construction or infrastructure projects.
- Candidates should possess structural engineering skills, including understanding of drawings, specifications, and load-bearing structures.
- Candidates should possess quality control skills, with the ability to inspect work, verify materials, and ensure compliance with standards.
- Candidates should possess effective communication skills to coordinate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders, and to document site activities clearly.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field, along with prior experience as a Site Engineer or similar role.
- Knowledge of construction methodologies, safety regulations, and basic project management practices.
- Ability to work full time on-site in Jamnagar, manage field challenges, and make practical decisions under time constraints.
- Proficiency with standard engineering tools and basic computer skills; familiarity with AutoCAD or similar software is an advantage.
