The Role
What You Will Be Doing
As Site Engineer at TrueNirmaan, you will be the eyes and hands on site. You will work directly under Manas Choudhary and be responsible for day-to-day execution, quality checks, labour supervision, and documentation on active construction sites in Indore.
This is a hands-on execution role. You will be on site every working day. You will be trained in TrueNirmaan’s QA/QC and documentation systems from Day 1.
Key Responsibilities
Day-to-Day Site Execution
— Supervise and coordinate daily site activities: earthwork, PCC, RCC, masonry, finishing.
— Ensure all work is executed as per approved drawings and specifications.
— Manage site labour — assign tasks, maintain attendance, ensure productivity.
— Coordinate with material suppliers for timely delivery and check incoming materials.
— Operate and supervise use of site equipment: JCB, compactor, concrete mixer, vibrator.
Quality Assurance & Documentation
— Conduct and record stage-wise QA/QC inspections as per TrueNirmaan’s checklist system.
— Prepare and submit Daily Work Reports (DWR) to the Director by 7:00 PM each working day.
— Maintain the Daily Material Tracking Sheet: materials received, consumed, and closing stock.
— Fill the Daily Activity Sheet with planned vs actual work progress.
— Take and label site photographs at every stage of construction.
— Flag any quality deviation or non-conformance to the Director immediately in writing.
Coordination & Communication
— Act as the single point of contact on site when the Director is not present.
— Brief labour and subcontractors on the day’s plan every morning before 8:30 AM.
— Coordinate with the HR/Admin team for material procurement, expense reporting, and bills.
— Participate in site visits with clients or approving engineers and present progress confidently.
Requirements
Must Have
— B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering
— 1–2 years hands-on site experience
— Ability to read structural & architectural drawings
— Familiarity with IS Codes for residential construction
— Smartphone — comfortable sending WhatsApp reports
— Based in Indore or willing to work in Indore
— Honest, punctual, and quality-conscious
Good to Have
— Experience in colony / township projects
— Exposure to STP / UGT construction
— Basic AutoCAD or drawing software knowledge
— Experience with concrete cube testing
— Familiar with bar bending schedules (BBS)
— Knows how to use a dumpy / auto level
— Conversational English (for client reporting)
