Role Description The Site Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Vadodara, responsible for supervising and coordinating daily construction and fit-out activities at project locations. This role includes monitoring site progress, ensuring work is executed according to design specifications, drawings, and structural requirements, and enforcing quality and safety standards. The Site Engineer collaborates closely with project managers, interior designers, contractors, and vendors to resolve technical issues, manage resources, and maintain project schedules. The position also involves preparing site reports, documenting work completion, supporting inspections, and communicating updates to stakeholders to ensure timely and compliant delivery of projects.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong on-site supervision skills, including experience managing construction or fit-out activities in live project environments.
- Candidates should possess clear and professional communication skills for coordinating with internal teams, contractors, vendors, and clients.
- Candidates should possess robust quality control capabilities, with the ability to inspect work, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions.
- Candidates should possess structural engineering knowledge relevant to commercial and industrial interior projects, ensuring adherence to design and safety standards.
- Candidates should possess qualifications as civil engineers or related engineering disciplines, with a diploma or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include familiarity with modular furniture installation, understanding of safety regulations, basic proficiency in project documentation, and the ability to use standard construction and measurement tools.
- Prior experience in corporate interiors, turnkey fit-out, or industrial projects and the ability to work independently under timelines will be considered an advantage.
