Role Overview
We are looking for a Site Execution Engineer with combined MEP and civil execution experience to monitor and drive on-ground progress across our industrial construction projects. This role sits between design intent and site reality, you'll ensure work is executed on time, to quality standards, and strictly per approved drawings, while coordinating closely with vendors, contractors, and the internal design team.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor daily/weekly site progress across civil, structural, and MEP (electrical, HVAC, plumbing/piping, fire-fighting) work fronts
- Ensure execution is strictly as per approved GFC drawings, specifications, and BOQs; flag and resolve deviations promptly
- Coordinate and follow up with vendors, contractors, and fabricators to ensure timely delivery and installation
- Review and verify quality of civil works (foundations, flooring, structural elements) and MEP installations against standards
- Work with PEB (Pre-Engineered Building) contractors — coordinate erection sequence, anchor bolt/foundation interfaces, and structural fit-up
- Track project schedules, identify delays early, and escalate/resolve bottlenecks with contractors and internal PM
- Conduct site measurement checks, material reconciliation, and support bill/RA bill verification
- Maintain daily/weekly progress reports, photographic documentation, and update project tracking sheets
- Coordinate with design team on RFIs, site queries, and drawing clarifications
- Support commissioning-stage checks and punch-list closure before handover
Required Skills & Experience
- 3–5 years of hands-on site execution experience in industrial/factory construction projects
- Working knowledge of both civil and MEP execution (not siloed to one discipline)
- Exposure to PEB (Pre-Engineered Building) structures — erection process, interfaces, tolerances
- Ability to read and work off civil, structural, and MEP drawings
- Strong vendor/contractor coordination and follow-up skills
- Comfortable with a mixed office + travel schedule, including outstation sites
- Good reporting discipline — daily/weekly progress reports, photographic documentation, MS Excel/Word proficiency
- Problem-solving mindset with ability to make sound on-site calls within design constraints
Good to Have
- Prior experience in food processing, pharma, or other hygienic/industrial facility projects
- Familiarity with statutory/safety compliance on industrial sites
- Knowledge of project management tools (MS Project, Zoho Projects, or similar)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD — must be able to prepare/mark up MEP drawings
